Our Mission

Veterans and their families sacrifieced for our Nation. Veterans left their families, friends and everything with which they were familiar. They endured significant changes and stress, maintaining a sometimes rigorous physical training regiment, following orders and commands from anyone who outranked them. Many sacrificed their lives, their health, and their marriages. Many have seen the effects of deployment on their children.

They made those sacrifices willingly. But they shouldn't have to face their ongoing challenges alone.

The mission of The Praetorian League is to serve those who served. We do this by providing grants to Veterans and their households to support the long-term care of Veterans. The Praetorian Group is a charitable organization focused on providing assistance to needy and disabled veterans as well as widows and orphans of deceased veterans.

Our board reviews all current submissions on a monthly basis. Once approved, grant payments begin immediately an are made directly to a long-term care facility or other third-party provider (e.g., a trust, hospital, medical provider, etc.). Help us to help Veterans!

Thousands of U.S. service members have disabling injuries or illnesses due to their service and require costly long-term support beyond what the formal VA health care system currently provides. Many of these injured or wounded service members or veterans rely on the support of caregivers — family or friends who provide unpaid care or help coordinate services for the wounded, ill, and injured. While these caregivers play an essential role in caring for injured or wounded service members and veterans, they often endure substantial physical, emotional, and financial stress.

The Praetorian League exists to help these caregivers by providing finacial and emotional support. Please help us to serve those who served by making a donation today!
